Michael Manni:
Michael Manni was born in Boston in 1964. He attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and received a BFA in 1989. Michael works almost exclusively with the human figure, specifically the face. He prefers his work on a small scale, literally cradling the images to be able to achieve the intense details. Outside of these self-portraits he never uses models. His imagination makes the work more personal. Michael has resided and worked in Chicago since 1992.
