Gwynne Johnson's photographs look at both the future and the past. Her series "This Doubtful Paradise" explores the lives of immigrants as they struggle to straddle departures and homecomings.

Johnson's work is featured in Las Manos Gallery's annual Photography Show through June 2nd.
